Clone to face trial on source murder charge

a

clone has been indicted for trial on a ground breaking murder charge, the first known in which a human clone has been charged with the murder of her own source.

Victim Vera J Wilmhausen was a transtriction consultant in Detroit USA. Her body was found with eight bullet wounds to the body and upper limbs by her husband, William, a senior technician with Magnetic Transport Systems Inc.

Forensic specialists had at first been baffled by the absence of any foreign DNA at the murder scene, the front garden of the Wilmhausen's Detroit mansion. This was surprising given the unpremeditated and chaotic nature of the crime.

It was only after extensive investigation of her medical records, which allegedly uncovered concealed references to a schizophrenia-related condition, that investigators discovered the existence of her clone and decided to continue investigations.

The clone Vera Millward is being held in the Detroit Laser Inhibitor Correctional Facility pending commencement of the trial. She is expected to enter a plea of temporary insanity by reasons of the alleged inheritance of schizophrenia.

In 2348 Wilmhausen had been diagnosed with Meibold Plasmosis, a long term degenerative disease related to Parkinson's Disease. After a two year battle with bureaucracy, she succeeded in obtaining an exemption under UN protocol 793 (e) which prohibits cloning except in extenuating medical circumstances.

Special dispensation under strict UN protocols followed permitting cloning to facilitate a live human source for the large volume of DCL8620 L-cells needed to provide a chance of a cure for Wilmhausen's condition. Initial analysis implies that she allegedly concealed details of her concurrent mental condition.

The history making murder is certain to reignite debate on the controversial issue of clone rights and illegal clone slavery, currently high on the agenda at the United Nations and European Parlii|||| 6644\\\\ ^^^^^^^^ 888777 ||||]]] //\\
