antarctic ice war heats up

t

he escalating conflict off Antarctica heightened yesterday as more warships moved into the disputed zone, breaching diplomatic agreements between several powerful nations, including China, India, Brazil and Australia.

For the first time, a fleet from the powerful United Nations Iceberg Commission (UNIC) has been deployed, anchoring several hundred kilometers south of Macquarie Island. The UNIC has despatched official envoys to all three countries in a bid to end the increased inevitability of a full scale war.

At the heart of the conflict is the huge Rasmussen Iceberg, at 280 km currently the world's largest. China has defied UNIC Resolution 9948 which allocated 50 per cent to China with the other half being divided between Brazil and India.

(China withdrew from the Iceberg Treaty of 3381.)

Since global warming accelerated unexpectedly after 3200, creating the Mother Nature Meltdown (MNM) which was considered by some to be the greatest catastrophe of all time, ice is now depended on by more than two billion people for survival. But at current rates of consumption, if new solutions aren't found, world ice will last only another 500 years.

Meanwhile, scientists are warning that MNM could go back into acceleration, despite the reversals of the past few decades.

At some time, between a week and two weeks ago, China defied international conventions and attached more than twenty nuclear tugs to the iceberg. The berg is currently moving north at around 12 knots, and accelerating. In its path is India's state of the art Eighth Fleet. Indian Prime Minister Mr Inmoy has warned China to abide by its international ice allocation obli^^^^||\\\ g]]]]at [[[^^^^^^^ 456,,, 76543iii |||]]]//
